Chicago KICS: Meet the gamers

As the start of Chicago KICS esports tournament draws closer, let’s take a look at who will be playing to earn the coveted prizes which include FIFA 21, $50 DICK’S sporting goods certificate and a KICS rally scarf. We have also asked two of the gamers some behind-the-scenes questions in the hope of finding out what they really love about KICS and esports.

• Gamer – Adam Simpson

Username – johnnybananas19

His favourite team is the USA because he said that “it’s the greatest football team of all time.” Adam is most looking forward to showing his talents to the hundreds of viewers worldwide and being part of something which is raising money for a well-deserving cause.

• Gamer – John Wierzbicki

Username – Rocky_Wiz20

His favourite team is Belgium. It is John’s first esports tournament so he is looking forward to the experience and he can’t wait to see if he’s still good at playing. Also, he’s excited to see how much money everyone can raise by the end of the tournament!
